ldiv — return
quotient and remainder from division

denom);
The
ldiv()
function computes the value
num/denom and returns the
quotient and remainder in a structure named ldiv_t
that contains two long integer members named
quot and rem.
The ldiv() function conforms to
ANSI X3.159-1989
(“ANSI C89”).
An ldiv() function with similar
functionality, but a different calling convention, first appeared in
Version 4 AT&T UNIX.
